How Our Calculator Works
Our calculator uses dermatological research as its foundation. We start with average growth rates for each of the four hair types — straight, wavy, curly, and coily — then apply multipliers based on your self-reported health and lifestyle factors.
Factors like balanced nutrition, biotin supplementation, scalp care routines, low stress levels, quality sleep, and proper hydration can each positively influence hair growth rates. Our algorithm adjusts the baseline rate accordingly.
